1 GB e-mail storage
To help you improve your electronic communication, Alloi Internet has just significantly increased the mailbox storage capacity of e-mail accounts. Instead of the previous 50 MB limit, you now have access to a massive 1 GB of storage space per mailbox. (this includes Microsoft Exchange mailboxes).
Announcing IMAP for your e-mail services
The IMAP protocol is now available to supplement the existing POP3 protocol. With IMAP your messages can be stored on the server so you can access your e-mail from multiple points. Unlike POP3 when your e-mail is stored on your local system — meaning once you've downloaded it, you cannot download it on another computer. You can create separate folders to sort incoming messages without downloading the entire inbox. Many popular e-mail clients such as Outlook and Netscape Mail support IMAP e-mail folders.
New Spam Filtering plus Virus Scanning

Alloi Internet have now introduced a new Spam Filtering option, avaialable for all mailboxes, and increased the availability of virus scanners. Your Spam Filter can be set at a low, medium or high level of spam protection. Accordingly, when e-mail meets our spam criteria, "SPAM" will be added to the subject line. Setting a filtering rule in your e-mail program will let you automatically filter out suspected spam.

With this option, all emails are virus checked using the latest symantec virus definitions.

**NB The Spam Filtering function is now available for all packages except Microsoft Exchange hosting, which already includes an integrated filter in Outlook 2003.
